There is nothing more frustrating than receiving a delivery that you have been waiting for eagerly, only to open it and its the wrong size, colour or product. This is a common occurence in India. One retailer in particular being LimeRoad. I have ordered many suits and kurtis from Limeroad and one time a pair of shoes. What a mistake. I ordered a size Euro 39 and received Euro 36. That is a massive difference in size. Someone obviously looked at the number upside down. There is no such thing as customer service with retailers. They promise they care for your money but the responsibility rests with the customer even if it is there error.
The shoes I ordered from Australia and delivered to my husbands family in preparation for my visit. Now I didn't arrive till a few months later only to discover they were the wrong size. I contacted Limeroad only to be told you must contact us within 7 days for a refund. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Does that sound like someone who is sorry? So I was out of pocket 2500 rupees courtesy of Limeroad. Now if this was Australia you would receive a refund and a apology for their error as legislation is in place to protect consumers.
I thought to give them a second chance and ordered some kurti's the other day. Today I receive the delivery and alas they couldn't manage to get the order right again. They gave me a XXL rather than L. Now Indian sizes are typically smaller hence why I buy bigger sizes. But a XXL is ridiculously large. What am I going to do with that? Luckily I am in the country to hopefully receive an exchange in size. Lets see how it goes!
It's not only incorrect sizes I have had issues with but products not being advertised as they are in true form. Suits I have ordered have had the image so drastically altered that what I thought was green turned out to be blue. Again I was not able to receive a refund.
Who else has had a terrible shopping experience?
